City of joy enjoying first ever day-night pink ball club cricket final. Eden Gardens experimenting with day-night cricket this weekend as Mohan Bagan taking on Bhawanipore club. Though cricket in India is usually played with the SG ball, the Super League final is being played with a pink Kookaburra, which requires a specific set of conditions to last. The surface has some grass ball swinging a bit and it’s great condition to play cricket.

Mohan Bagan is one of the giant in Indian football. Now they are very close to win this historic match of cricket. The team has some star players like Mohammad Shami, Wriddhiman Saha but, veteran Anustup Majumder shown his class by scoring 83 valuable runs for his team in the first innings. Shami and Sanjib Sanyal made a solid partnership to take Mariners to a safe total of 299. Bagan struggled in the beginning they lost four wickets in just 52 runs Wriddhiman Saha rescued them.
Bhawanipore collapsed early in reply. They scored only 153 runs. Uddipan Mukherjee scored 41 runs for Bhawanipore. Mohammad Shami got five wickets and Sourav Modal took four. These two made task difficult for the batsman.
Bagan already have 150 0n board for the loss of 4 wickets in the second innings. Arindam scored 49 already and Anustup batting on20. They are already 296 runs ahead. It’s mountain to climb for Bhawanipore to win this historic match.
